In my movie the shots used are over the shoulder shot for when he is entering the door from the outside, a mid shot for when he is coming through the door inside, a small pan across the room as he walks to sit in the seat, and then shot reverse shot for the conversation. I would say the film is clear that the boy is returning home from somewhere and the fact he is wearing a football kit and holding a boot bag helps the audience connotate that he has come home from a football match. The shots are also smooth and the shots through the door are smooth and fit well even when switching angle. However the film prehaps lacks somethings like a close up on his hand when opening the door then a reverse zoom and pan for when he is closing the door and walkin across the room. I have tried to darken the lighting a little when he is outside so that it looks later on in the day and so that the audience can know he is returning from somewhere after spending sometime there. I have learnt that it is important to try and keep similar shots and colours when considering continuity so that when transitions are made they are almost invisible. I feel the dialogue could be increased and improved and some of the shots could have been thought through more so more things could have been included but I am happy with the editing of the film and enjoyed making it.
